At the age of 47, when faced with a cancer diagnosis, Dr Horwitch discovered the healing and health benefits of laughter. Using laughter to remain physically and mentally healthy during the time of chemotherapy, she eventually became trained as a certified laughter leader. For the past 18+ years she has taught the health and well-being benefits of laughter to numerous organizations and venues. She founded The Laugh Doctor to continue this important and life-changing work.

Dr. Horwitch is dedicated to leading workshops that harness the healing power of laughter and improv exercises, consulting with organizations about the well-being of their staff members, and facilitating strategic planning meetings for professional teams to promote effective collaboration. However, her goals remain unchanged: empowering individuals with the tools and skills to take charge of their own health.

Dr. Horwitch continues to make a profound impact on the lives of those she encounters, embodying her belief that with a little bit of laughter, we can achieve greater health and happiness.
